LaQueta Shelburne attended Bronte High School and Angelo State University. She worked alongside Harold when he left General Telephone in 1983 to start his own accounting firm. LaQueta's work focus shifted from the accounting side of the practice when she obtained her insurance license and moved on to wealth management in 1994. LaQueta is also a Certified Senior Advisor.
LaQueta and Harold have been married for 46 years, and have three daughters. In addition to their daughters, they have five grandchildren and three son-in-law’s. LaQueta has been an active member of First United Methodist Church for 40 years, and has served in the ministries in various capacities, and currently teaches Sunday school in the children’s’ department. Outside of work and church, LaQueta has been an active member of Beta Sigma Phi for 40 years, and holds the highest degree of Torchbearer in the organization and has served the organization in various leadership roles. She helped to establish Project Graduation for Central and Lakeview High Schools, and has also served as the President of the Symphony Guild, where she is a lifetime member and a member of the Circle of Honor.
Service has always been the motto for both personal and business relationships for LaQueta and Harold.
